The studio

A studio with a long game.

JRM Software builds focused apps for sports communities. We make the tools we wish existed — and stay close to the people who use them every day.

We started in calendars and scheduling. Then the work pulled us somewhere more interesting — tools for real communities of players, and the coaches who teach them.

Focus is the whole idea. Doing one thing well — instead of many things vaguely — is what lets us stay close to the courts, ship carefully, and answer the people who write in.

Our first apps were about scheduling and appointments. But the more time we spent with players and coaches, the clearer it became that "generic calendar" was never the real job. Organizing a weekly round robin, or running a coaching practice, has its own rhythm — and software should fit it exactly.

So that's what we make now: focused apps that do one real thing exceptionally well. Pickleball Dink+ for the players and organizers. Pickleball Coach+ for the coaches building a business. And, soon, that same coaching platform for more sports.

How we work

A few things we believe.

Not a manifesto — just the principles that keep our apps honest.

01

Purpose-built beats generic

We'd rather solve one sport's real workflow perfectly than be a calendar that sort of works for everything.

02

Built by people who play

We play and coach ourselves, and design with real players and instructors. Every feature has to earn its place.

03

Close to the people who use it

We build for the players and coaches who actually use our apps — not a roadmap someone else wrote.

Where we're headed

From pickleball to every court.

Pickleball Dink+ keeps getting deeper for the groups who rely on it, and Pickleball Coach+ is growing beyond pickleball — bringing the same scheduling and business tools to tennis, volleyball, and more.

If you coach a sport we haven't reached yet, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
